My son is sick and needs help with medical

My son is sick and needs help.
He has a cyst at the base of his brain.
He needs to see a specialist and get medication and/or operation.
He has CMS medical but was told it does not cover an operation.
What can I do? I can not afford it. He is 22 years old.

Is it true that a Medical Insurance company can not deny you because of a preexisting condition?
And What insurance companies can I contact for Insurance? Thank you
